1. Connect Your Gamepad

Connect your controller to your computer or laptop using either:

• USB cable (recommended)
• Bluetooth (wireless controllers)

2. Select Controller & Start Testing

1. Choose your controller from the Select Controller dropdown.
2. Click Start Testing.
3. The polling rate (Hz) and drift score will update automatically.

If no controller appears, reconnect it and refresh the page.

3. Controller Visual & Live Inputs

The controller SVG shows real-time input data:

• Button press highlights
• Analog stick movement
• D-Pad direction detection
• Trigger pressure visualization

This helps identify stuck buttons, incorrect mapping, or drift issues.

4. Test Vibration (Rumble)

Use the vibration controls to test controller motors:

• Strong – full power vibration
• Soft – light rumble
• Pulse – rhythmic vibration
• Custom Pattern – advanced vibration sequences

If vibration does not work, your controller or browser may not support it.

5. Trigger & Stick Analysis

The tool provides:

• L2 / R2 trigger gauges
• Trigger pressure bars
• Left & right stick movement boxes
• Drift detection graph

These features are useful for diagnosing joystick drift and trigger wear.

6. Latency & Performance Test

Click Issue Cue and press a button when prompted. The system measures:

• Input response time
• Latency consistency
• Real-time latency graph

This is helpful for competitive gaming and esports testing.

7. Advanced Features (DualSense / DS4)

Click Enable Advanced Features (WebHID) to unlock:

• Gyroscope & accelerometer data
• 3D motion visualization
• Touchpad tracking
• Lightbar color control
• Adaptive trigger resistance

🔒 WebHID requires HTTPS and user permission.

8. Logs & Data Export

The Logs panel records controller input data in real time.

• Download logs as JSON or CSV
• Clear logs instantly
• Useful for developers and debugging

Browser & Controller Compatibility

• Best browsers: Chrome, Edge
• Xbox controllers: No gyroscope
• PS5 / PS4: Full advanced support via WebHID
• Switch controllers: Partial support
